Hi I'm hoping someone can look through my profile and provide some feedback! I'm shooting for a coveted 700 GMAT score in my next attempt.
Target Schools
Tepper (CMU), Johnson (Cornell), Simon (Rochester), Tuck (Dartmoouth), Fuqua (Duke)
Background and nationality
African American Male 27 years old
Undergrad Information
Top 50 Engineering Program, graduated in 2016 with Engineering Degree, Econ Minor, and Lean Six Sigma Certifications GPA: 2.99 (Had some health issues that derailed me for a year hence the low gpa but finished my last 5 semesters above a 3.50)

Work experience and leadership
3.5 years experience. I've worked across multiple industries including Snack Foods Manufacturing and Distribution, where I lead a team of 5 employees and streamlined distribution center practices, Aerospace, where I lead experimental manufacturing of new aircraft(think gov't secrets and such), and Healthcare, where I'm currently working as a consultant who manages and leads high value enterprise projects for the region's largest healthcare system. I was recently promoted again(2x promotions) and I was a part of my city's covid-19 taskforce and helped the city establish several test sites and develop processes for contact tracing. I also own a small business.
Community and others
I was a member of two diversity organizations in undergrad, held a board member seat in one. I also volunteered at a local community center doing weekly stem projects with young students.
Post MBA goals
I would like to remain in the healthcare industry, start my own healthcare consulting firm, and streamline the corporate services side of the healthcare industry by reducing wasteful practices pertaining to billing, scheduling, and reimbursement. Many organizations have convoluted charge masters for standard services, with minimal transparency of cost of services that ultimately get passed onto the patient. An MBA will assist me in understanding organizational design and business analytics to structure an effective method and organization for reducing the cost placed on customers/patients. I would also like to expand my small business. (Still a bit fuzzy on the exact 'how' of my post-mba goals)

Hi, and thanks for writing! Regarding academics, it's good to see that you had an upward trend in your GPA. Do address the circumstances that led to the lower overall GPA in your optional essay. And, to help offset it, you're right to aim for a 700+, with a balanced score on Quant, Verbal, and IR.
Regarding your work experience, I'd like some clarification: In your 3.5 years of work experience, have you been at 3 different organizations, or as a consultant in one firm working across industries? If three different companies, you may need to explain your path depending on how long you spent at each organization.
And on the extracurricular side, I see you were heavily involved in college - have you continued your participation post-college, or have you been working mainly on your small business (schools definitely value entrepreneurship/family business experience as well, so make sure to detail this on your resume)?
Regarding your career goals, you'll want to do some reflection on them. While many MBAs eventually start their own businesses and your desired impact on the healthcare industry is very noble, I generally always advise candidates to frame entrepreneurship as a longer-term goal, given the difficulty of starting a venture right after bschool (and, admissions committees consider candidates' employability in their evaluation process. So, I'd think about: what type of role within healthcare would you want to do right after you graduate, that would help lay the groundwork for your future ambitions?

Hi to clarify, yes, I worked in three different industries at three different organizations. I spent a year in each of my first two roles and thinking about it I'm at almost two years in my current role so my work experience will technically be 4 years in October.
I have been mostly involved with the small business. Haven't volunteered with any consistency in about two years.
