Hi
allenliu0915,
Thank you for sharing your profile. Starting with stats, your undergrad GPA is on the lower side. However, you can compensate for it with your solid GMAT score. You have a great GMAT score. Congratulations! On the work front, your 5 years of experience must include leadership experiences, impact, and career progression. UCLA wants candidates in leadership roles who have sought more responsibility, coped with difficult situations, or strived to effect change that is consistent with their own values. I don't have additional specifics about your work experience, but for your Resume, try highlighting the roles you've undertaken, key projects you've completed in the last five years, and the impact they had.
Your ECs are missing. You can speak about your volunteer experience it will demonstrate a ‘collaborative leader’ in you, which UCLA highly stresses. ECs play a critical part in your applications, revealing your diverse personality and allowing adcoms to learn about the various aspects of your personality. Also, try to include any hobbies you have or things you enjoy doing in your spare time that are not related to your work. I'm sure there will be something, and please mention it in your apps. Consider something you enjoy doing and talk about it since it will make your applications more interesting.
What are your post-MBA goals? Your post-MBA goals are important in shortlisting b-schools. Since your Business school acts as a launching pad for your career, it is critical to determine how well the school aligns with your post-MBA goals. For example, if you want to work for a specific firm, you should find out if they hire from the B-schools you've chosen. All the top business schools look for individuals who have realistic and achievable goals and a strategy for how they intend to achieve these goals by getting an MBA from their school. These post-MBA career objectives are major themes in many application questions and even interviews. Think about it.
Overall you have a good profile. I would like to know more details about your work experience and post-MBA goals to suggest b-schools for you. You may want to read an article on

I’m preparing to apply MBA for 2022 spring or fall.
My BA is psychology from CSUF, with GPA 2.7 out of 4.0.
My GMAT score is 770, AW score is 6.
I have 5 years of working experience including rehab technician in nursing home, regional distributor of a online marketing company, current job is realtor.
Also have volunteered during pandemic in 2020.
My top choice will be UCLA and UCB. Others like Michigan, Northwestern, Chicago, NYU are also very attractive to me. However, I’m not sure if I am qualified to these schools. Would like some suggestions on choosing my school.
