Dear gmatclub friends and Ask Accepted professionals,
Work experience: I am a spanish 31 year old male. I'm the CEO and Co-Founder of an e-commerce company that distributes video games and video game related merchandise in Spain. We have been operating for almost two years now and the company is doing good. As per my past experience, I started my first company when I was 18 years old just as I started my bachelor's degree in business in Madrid. We built custom PCs and offered custom IT solutions for small companies in Madrid for about 6 years. I have been working as a professional DJ in one of the biggest clubs in Madrid for 2 years and have also worked in the private banking industry in Miami for over a year as a Financial Advisor.
GMAT: 620 Q44 V31
College Info: I got a bachelor's degree in business administration from a spanish university "Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio" (GPA around 3) and a masters degree in finance from another spanish university "Centro Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF)" (GPA around 3 as well). I studied in a swiss high school and speak german, english and spanish fluently.
Significant college and post-college extra-curricular activities or community service: I have personally been working with Juegaterapia, a NGO that helps children with cancer in spanish hospital. My company has also been collaborating with them since it started operating. As a motorcycle enthusiast I plan and organize trips around Spain for several groups of friends. As a fitness and nutrition expert and enthusiast I help friends and family achieve their fitness and nutritional goals since 2010.
Target programs: UCLA / UT Austin / Cornell / Haas
Application timing: R2
Post MBA-goal: I plan to work on the Entrepreneurship / Internet / Videogame industries. I wish to help developing innovative products/services and manage groups of people in order to achieve such goals.
