Hi
vanshajagarwal,
Thank you for sharing! Have you considered looking into an EMBA? With your level of work experience, this may be a good option to consider depending on your goals. Often, schools are looking for those with 10 to 12+ years of experience for their executive programs.
That said, if still want to pursue a full-time MBA program,
Personal MBA Coach works with many more-experienced candidates who get into top programs by developing a strong story to explain their roles to date.
We work with a lot of family business applicants each year and they do quite well. That said, those coming from family business sometimes have to work a little harder to prove themselves to the admissions committee since they have a harder time evaluating how good your work truly was.
We can certainly help set you up for success via our
comprehensive services. We would be happy to discuss your goals in more detail to determine your target school list:

Best wishes,

Hi,
I am a 32-year-old, male, from India. I have a 740 (Q49 V41 IR8) in my GMAT.
I have 10 years of Work Experience, Entrepreneurship. I have been involved in my family business of Fashion and was responsible individually for the expansion into the Food industry.
I am looking at US B Schools for a 2 Year MBA, specifically the M7s. My short term goal is to work in Strategy (either in an organisation OR in management consulting) and the long term goal is setting up an extension of the family business in the USA.
Keeping in mind my age and work experience duration, which M7s would you recommend for me? Looking at schools that may look favourably upon family business background, 32 years of age, 10 years of work experience.
Thanks.
