Hi vaggar4,

You have many great attributes in your background and please do not underestimate it by any means for the top programs. You will only know how you can stand out from your competition when you apply to these schools. Taking a risk is a great quality across global leaders and it is one that is attractive to AdComms.

Remember, the GMAT score is 1 component (of 6 total) that the schools will evaluate you on. This has been validated by online postings in which candidates with 740+ GMAT scores have been denied by programs such as HBS, Wharton, Stanford, Booth. I think programs are very fair in their evaluation process and look at the "whole candidate". You just have to be bold and take that risk. Please do not "opt-out" of your dream school because you thought you did not have a chance. You must first run the race to see :-D
