Good GMAT, Riteshtb.

Would like to understand your work-ex better i.e. key achievements, skill-sets, any promotions(?) etc. It'd be crucial to have a strong narrative covering these angles, linking them to your post-MBA goals and highlighting the need for 'why MBA'. Also any recent ECs i.e. since undergrad?

As MG noted above, it'd be speculative to suggest schools at this point. Broadly though, here are some key factors to consider in deciding your school mix. Some top schools for consulting and tech/ PM careers are here and here FYI. This is the first step I work with candidates on, as the school-mix directly impacts the outcome.

Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out through the links below for a deeper chat.

Hi Riteshtb,

The larger portion of your applications will be from your overall work experience as that will highlight the right skills that you have acquired over time. Your GMAT FE scores seem decent, however, they are subject to change once we identify your short and long-term goals post-MBA.

Our MBA consultants have helped several applicants submit successful applications to leading business schools globally by helping them discover their right-fit universities. we recommend you schedule a free profile consultation call with them or connect directly with them over a call at +91 7780769732

It would have been nice if you had shared more about your professional projects. I have over 10 years of experience in your industry and I would be happy to advise suitable opportunities and schools.

You can read this useful piece
Military/Navy Veterans, Engineers, SCM Mgrs, PSU Folks- Goals Strategy : Ross (gmatclub.com)

In terms of target schools

India: Keep an open mind for ISB, IIM A. IIM B, IIM C and IIML , apply to all
EU/UK: HEC Paris, Oxford, Cambridge, IESE
US: You will need a higher score but for supply chain folks Ross, McCombs, Kenan Flagler, Tepper, Foster, WP Carey, Broad and Scheller are some targeted ones.

Feel free to reach out for a complimentary discussion to get your profile evaluated.

Hey, Endeavour87

While preparing for the application to IIM A, B, C, and ISB Round 2, your profile displays a mix of strong points as well as areas that require improvement. You have all it takes to be a good leader, given your 12 years in service, who has high responsibility, including team management and overseeing the credit department. The decision to pass CFA Level 1 shows how determined you are towards professional growth. But your grade at the undergraduate level may make top institutions skeptical about admitting you, although your GMAT score of 690 is impressive, raising it by retaking could help boost your chances further. In order to improve the strength of your application, focus on work achievements and leadership roles within essays while giving a positive interpretation to any academic performance gaps. Thinking about ISB might be more realistic; thus, using some strategy while applying would enable you to formulate a strong case for being admitted.

Let's connect and have a detailed analysis of your profile .Click here to schedule a complimentary profile evaluation session with our experts . We match you with the students and alums of top B-Schools according to your background and target schools.

Hello Riteshtb

Thanks for sharing your profile. You carry a decent profile. While assessing your application, top B-schools look for candidates who have demonstrated leadership qualities in their professional or personal lives. Leadership qualities don’t necessarily mean leading teams – they could also mean the initiatives you have taken, your achievements, impact orientation, and career progression.

Considering the information you have provided, below mentioned are some of the B-schools you should consider while applying.

University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business
University of California Anderson School of Management
Yale University - Yale School of Management
University of Chicago Booth School of Business
University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management
CMU Tepper
IE Business School
Duke University Fuqua School of Business
University of Virginia Darden School of Business

It would be better if you could share more about your profile like the name of the institution you have graduated, from and post MBA goals so that we could help you in suggesting the right B-school based on your overall profile.
