Hey,
jksiinghWelcome to the community, it is amazing to see you involved and asking for advice about your MBA journey. A GMAT Focus Edition score of 695 is considered quite competitive, especially in the context of the new scoring system. You are placed favorably in many MBA programs with this score. However, 695 is a good number, but it’s not bad to take another shot at trying to get a higher one. Some top United States institutions you can consider include the University of Chicago (Booth), Northwestern University (Kellogg), Columbia University, MIT (Sloan), and UC Berkeley (Haas). These five schools have great analytics curricula, which may be attractive to you due to your background in data analytics and interest in pursuing an MBA. In India, look at IIM Ahmedabad, ISB, and IIM Bangalore for their robust programs in business analytics.
As you evaluate these schools, reflect on the networking opportunities afforded by each school’s location, the availability of internships, and finally, the curriculum’s emphasis on data science and machine learning components. Achieving a 725 would help bolster your overall application, which could increase your chances of being awarded scholarships if you’re confident enough about raising it from its present level. Nevertheless, remember that your GMAT score is just part of your application; hence, other features such as work experience can influence admission decisions just as much or even more than test results alone, depending on each particular case. Good luck with your MBA journey; feel free to reach out if there is anything else we can assist you with!
