Hi, please review my profile for ISB/IIM A PGPX. I haven’t attempted the GMAT yet. Please also comment on what score I should target. I’ve not considered GRE yet but open to advices regarding that as well.
Female, 27 yo
10th - 10 CGPA (95%)
12th - 75.8
Undergrad - B-TECH in Computer Science Engineering (Tier 3) with 8.41 CGPA
Work experience:
5 years in July
Role: Content Engineer in IT publishing (British firm)
Joined in 2021 as a content development editor
Got promoted twice in 2022 and 2023 to move into a senior editorial role
Another promotion in 2024 after a company restructure to Content Engineer (currently in this role)
Description of the role: Work with tech experts from across the world to develop high-quality tech content in the form of books, newsletters, video courses.
PORs:
Was active in various clubs and societies during undergrad, most notably president of the mental health collective, president of the literary society, editor in the university newsletter and a member of the student council
DRI (directly responsible individual) for titles and project in my role where I have ownership of all my titles

Your role seems to have changed remarkably at the publishing firm. Could you help me understand how your responsibilities changed from being an content editor to content engineer? For your applications, you will have to highlight and business impact you have made on the organization, which could include improving the bottom line, bringing efficiency in your projects etc. How you showed your leadership skills in achieving such outcomes would also be equally important. You've had many promotions, which is impressive and hopefully this will help you get good recommendations.
Your ECAs are looking dated. Have you dine anything more recently?
You can take either GMAT or GRE- whatever you can score better in. And do apply to ISB as well as some IIMs as your profile looks quite strong.
