Target Schools -
Reading all the negatives about indian male category . I am hoping to get into one of the schools that fall in the below categories :
a) Top 15 US business school
b) LBS / Insead / Cambridge / Said .
Which schools can i realistically target ?
alphao123 - some thoughts/ clarifications:
1. Your undergrad (IIT) pedigree and GPA are good angles. While the GMAT is good, it'd be borderline for M7's and LBS, given the competitive Indian Male applicant pool. For US Top-15 broadly and EU/ UK programs, the acads are solid. Having said that, it's always good to aim for a strategic mix of Ambitious, Reach and Safe programs.
2. Your work-ex sounds interesting, given the employer brand and promotions. Would like to understand more the key achievements in your roles, skill-sets gained, etc. Prioritizing schools would also depend on your post-MBA goals among other factors such as
these.
3. A strong narrative covering your work-ex, career goals, and 'why MBA' is crucial. To that end, Extracurricular activities are also important, to present a holistic profile.
Hope this helps a bit. Feel free to reach out for a deeper chat.
