Hi mskumarsajeesh,

You have an excellent profile with a great career progression and extracurricular. Your NGO experience puts you in front to impress the adcom. Considering your consistent achievements in career are outstanding. Your academics are bit high compared to the class of the shortlisted schools above, great GMAT score can make it up for your academics. Based on your profile and the fact that you are an Indian male, you should target to add 20 or 30 points to class average GMAT score to compete with demographics to have a fair chance of getting an admit from the schools you have mentioned above. Overall, you have an equitable profile to fit into the schools mentioned with achieving a great GMAT score.

Hi mskumarsajeesh,

The European b-schools you have mentioned look for holistic profiles in applicants (just look at their essay line-ups). Given that academics, work experience, international motivation and leadership outside work are their top criteria, here's my take on your profile:
1. Acads- your UG GPA seems to be average. A higher GMAT score, 720 and beyond, would help. INSEAD wishes its applicants to have quant/ verbal score above the 70-75th percentile and an IR above 6. So, as you are yet to take GMAT, aim for a score better than this.

2. Work Experience- YOu say you have performed well. Based on some assumptions, I will add areas that could be highlighted to show superior work experience: being deputed abroad, which may not be common at all in your organization; earning promotions, which are hard to come by in a PSU; superior leadership ability by way of working with seniors and peers (normally its difficult to move the needle in government organizations).

3. International experience- you tick this box, but how long is your international duration and how have you grown personally/professionally due to this exposure?

4. Leadership outside work- this is best demonstrated when you are able to make an impact on others. You have mentioned your ECAs. Just to focus a little more on the NGO- exactly what do you do there, how crucial is your role and what have you achieved? Trekking and summiting show grit and maybe good leadership skills. Being a model, well, that's a good conversation starter.

In terms of advice for the following months- crack the GMAT quickly.
