Hi all, This is my first post here so I have little idea about how this forum works but I would be really grateful if you guys could help me with this,
I just graduated from an engineering insti in India with a CGPA 3.5/4 with majors in Electrical Engineering.
I gave an unprepared attempt to GMAT last summer and got a dismal score of 610(49Q 25VA)
I have read that retaking only gives us a scope of improving score by 33 points on an average and many a times the score gets reduced.
Retakers there? How true is that? I need to start my GMAT prep so really need to make a decision here.

Happy to help...you are still fresh go for the kill, use the forum ,read extensively...I m sure u can up verbal score by another 10 points....try e gmat if you are ready for long time . Use their flagship prog..verbal live prep. Do not pay too much heed to the stats....the number of outliers are always huge..don't worry...
