Hello!

I applied to one top 30 school this year and was rejected. I'm hoping to get a head start and apply to about 4-5 schools coming fall. I would love to hire an admissions consultant to help with the whole process. Here are my stats
GPA: 7.7/10
GRE: 316 - will be retaking or taking the GMAT
Work Experience: 1yr in Entertainment in LA and 4yrs in Non-Profit in India (Indian Female Applicant)

My main goal for an MBA is to switch back to Entertainment. Would love take advantage of the initial free session and see if we are a good fit. Please let me know, thank you!

Hi varshad, I'm happy to hear you plan to work with a consultant, I think you will be really surprised how much better your apps will be this time around.
I have five years of post-MBA management-level experience in Media and would love to chat and see if we are a fit. I am booked this week but would encourage you to set up a free consultation with me next week via my website, https://MBAPrepCoach.com
You can find my rates and testimonials via the link in my signature line.
Best, Farrell

Hi Varshad,

We'd love to help! To start with, I can have a look at your application and help you uncover any problems with the essays, resume et al. Feel free to send across your application to me - my email address is there in my signature.

We can take it forward from there.

Hello!
Hi varshad, Thanks for reaching out! We'd love to help you and now is a great time to start!
I applied to one top 30 school this year and was rejected. I'm hoping to get a head start and apply to about 4-5 schools coming fall. I would love to hire an admissions consultant to help with the whole process. Here are my stats
GPA: 7.7/10
GRE: 316 - will be retaking or taking the GMAT I would encourage taking this again- maybe try GRE again and aslso GMAT
Work Experience: 1yr in Entertainment in LA and 4yrs in Non-Profit in India (Indian Female Applicant)This does help you stand out a bit in this very crowded pool. The entertainment is an interesting angle.

My main goal for an MBA is to switch back to Entertainment. Would love take advantage of the initial free session and see if we are a good fit. Please let me know, thank you!
We would love to do a free consult for you to learn more about how we can help. Your background now sounds a bit out of the "usual" which can be a good thing for sure- but also you have to be clear why you feel the need for the MBA in entertainment as many advance in this field without an MBA and there is not a clear pathway recruiting wise. However, I have a classmate that is very successful in entertainment field and no doubt his Kellogg MBA was very helpful in the process. I would look at schools located in major media markets like LA or NYC. Here is the link to do a consult: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com/ ... b-visitor/
Look forward to hearing what is most certainly a very interesting background and story!!

Hi Varshad,

I would love to learn more about you! By way of background, I am the founder of Ivy Groupe (ivygroupe.com), a boutique MBA admissions company. I am a graduate of Harvard Business School and over the past 5+ years, I have successfully helped applicants and re-applicants from all over the world gain admission to top-tier MBA programs (including female, Indian applicants). I also have experience in the non-profit sector (having worked at an educational non-profit in India) and in entertainment (having founded an online media company). In addition, I have successfully worked with clients looking to transition to the entertainment field post-MBA. Please feel free to email me at info@ivygroupe.com to schedule a free consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Varshad,
I am shocked to hear both that you applied to 30 schools and that you got rejected from all. I am interested in hearing your story and evaluate what went wrong. Did you hire any consultant while applying the first time?

Hi Varshad,

Sorry about last year but sounds like you have a great shot at this year! I'm happy to chat with you. Our free consult is all about helping you think through strengths / weaknesses and how to prepare for the upcoming season. I worked with several candidates from the entertainment industry just last year - one is going to HBS and one is deciding between between three top offers (leaning towards Haas). The latter is actually an Indian woman as well who works in entertainment in the US (she might be a good person for me to set you up with to chat). Anyway, that said, I have a sense for where you're coming from and am happy to chat through with you (meredith@vantagepointadmissions.com).

Kindly,
Meredith
