Hello everyone,
I just took the GMAT yesterday, and my official score is 735 (Q: 90, V: 85, DI: 85). I'm from India and hold a B.Tech in Information Technology (2021) with a GPA of 3.5/4. Over the past three years, I've been working as a Software Development Engineer, receiving annual promotions and currently holding the position of Senior Software Development Engineer.
With this GMAT score, I'm aiming for the M7 business schools and am looking for guidance from this community on navigating the application process.
I'm feeling a bit lost on where to start with my applications, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need any more information about my profile.

Wow. Fantastic score! Fantastic job!
Keep in mind that the score is not a good enough alone item to break through the M7. This score will help you to be in the race and not get dinged so to speak, but you are expected to also bring more to the table and provide a relevant story - e.g. why do you think you need an MBA now? Why not in a few years? How have you used your time compared to your peers? (these are the types of questions AdCom will have in their minds) as well as thy will you succeed in your future role? You are on the younger side, so they will look at how mature you are and how attractice you would be to a future potential employer. Schools don't like to bring people who may have a hard time finding a job. E.g. many PM roles may require 5 years of work experience in Tech and if you come in with a story of moving to Tech PM, it will be a blunder and a ding as the AdCom will see you have not researched your story well enough and have not talked to the current students and alums (a very helpful step) about your career choices, plans, and opportunities.
What you want to show in your application (for an Admit) is that you are ready for the BSchool, you will be successful when you graduate, and that you will add value to the class as a productive, interesting, and happy candidate.

While your GMAT score of 735 is impressive, it is important for candidates to know that AdCom doesn’t only look at the scores. Thus, your academic background, such as a good grade point average and your work experience, will be instrumental. The areas to emphasize in your application include your career advancement, distinct accomplishments, and leadership endeavors. Also, make sure your essays are genuine and reveal strong reasons for your interest in the MBA program but, more specifically, stress the fact that you are an international candidate from India, which adds to the diversity of the program. Recommendation letters that are well-written and elaborate on the particular aspects of your work and follow-up behavior will also be beneficial to your application. Proving an interest outside of a career, be it in professional bodies or societies, volunteering, or personal interests, demonstrates one’s roundedness. By focusing on these elements, you can present a well-rounded candidacy that goes beyond just your GMAT score.
