Hi,
I am an international (Indian) student. I wanted to apply to LBS during R3, the deadline is just 3 days away and I think, i'm not prepared enough (I'm planning to reappear for GMAT and raise my score from 680 to >700). As we know that one should apply when he/she is 'ready', im planning to push my application to R4.
Now, they say- "Last rounds are the toughest!", and moreover, international students are advised to apply early given the visa processing time that adds. However, I cannot move to next year.. losing one year will be a big deal for me!
Does reappearing for GMAT and applying with a better score in R4 make sense in my scenario?
Please suggest..

Hi there,
Hmm, it's tough to give much more advice without knowing more about your profile as a whole, and of course you never know for sure until you try... if you know you can't get a quality app together in 3 days then I wouldn't advice doing so. So you may wish to at least give it a shot for R4 so you know you tried! But if it does not work out of course you'll want to consider other options/plan B... maybe some January intakes at some schools for example??
