Hi everyone,

It only has been a week since my Booth Interview. However, I just received an offer yesterday from Kellogg. Should I let Booth know that I have another offer? I don't want to seem too eager or push them too hard, but I also don't know if Booth will take another week or 4 weeks to make a decision.

thank you in advance for your advice!

Not sure if I understand your motive correctly...have you decided to accept Kellogg and are hence informing Booth ?
My suggestion is to first wait and see if you receive an admit on the deadline Booth has mentioned and then if you've decided to pursue Kellogg, you can write a polite email to Booth stating the same.

Oh no. I haven’t decided anything. If I wait 4 weeks for Booth to make a decision, that will pass Kellogg’s acceptance due date. So I was trying to see if Booth can expedite the decision making process.

You could make sure that they indeed haven't specified a decision date for your program and then a week before Kellogg's acceptance deadline, you xan email Booth outlining the current situation (Booth is your top priority but another offer deadline is near and you'd like to know when you could expect a final decision etc)

Also congratulations on Kellogg acceptance and all the best!

Good advice! Thank you so much! I will wait for a bit before reaching out.

Agree with this approach, this feels like strategic communication.
