I am an Indian candidate but living near Madison, WI for last 4 years. So I am not sure what category I fall in. Seems like you are on the east coast. Hang in there. We will all be there if we need be.

If you look at last year's thread you will realize that many people received their invite at a later stage. Many times applicants withdraw their application because they got accepted somewhere else and that place is their preferred choice over the MIT Sloan. All the best.

Only admission committee can answer this questions my friend.

Rumors have bat-wings, as rumors fly they sh*t on people just like bats or pigeons. I look at these forums to gate an idea of if the interview invite has started pouring out or not. Nothing more than that.

Can any upstanding individual from the New England region tell us when the first interview will occur (time slot wise)? this week, next week? I reside in Arizona, but I am an international candidate. I am not sure if I should be expecting a call when Latin America gets a call or when the US West region gets a call. Just wondering...

I have been researching past interview questions on the internet, and one thing Ive come across is candidates keep referencing handing over their transcripts. Now this is something we uploaded in the apps, do we need to bring a copy of this still? And I was only to upload an unofficial version, and I think my university requires that they send it directly to the office who requests it, so I cant bring an official version myself.

Anyone know if the transcipts are a thing of the past and just werent in the application submission. Or should I be worried I need to get my undergrad to get something official to MIT by next week?

From what I read and understood about this process for MIT, we need to bring in official transcripts at the time of the interview. (Official transcripts - These transcripts are the ones that we get from your school/university in a signed,stamped and sealed envelope.)

You may want to get those ready for the interview. You can call adcom office to know the official word on it. Let us know if it is different from what I understood.

I knew before I posted the question that the correct answer is always to call and ask adcom. So I took your advice after I tried being lazy and posting the question here.

I called and asked the adcom, they said no official copies of the transcript are required this time, just a photo id. Thats a relief. Anyone else's undergrad refuse to give graduates transcripts and instead insist on mailing them directly to the school?
