I agree with your number but I am still not convinced with the admit rate of 13% because it's an estimate number and not official number.
Just for your interest even if you consider an admit rate of 13% (please note that this is cummalative rate of mba and lgo). On MIT lgo website it says that out of 56 offers 48 applicants accepted lgo offers and total applicants were 256. Based on these numbers the admit rate for mba falls to 9%. It's second lowest after Stanford

Yea that's the issue with trying to field these calculations but a general estimate is nice.
For LGO they release the # of accepted students? Interesting. Yes this would change the estimate slightly and make the MBA program have even lower theoretical acceptance rate.
I think how adcom manage the class is they estimate what yield they will have then accept enough students with that estimate in mind. They also usually employ a waitlist just in case they overestimated the yield and not enough students accept the offer. This is why I mentioned earlier that the yield at MIT is trending higher since the MIT Sloan MBA class of 2014 was oversubscribed by 10% and needed to offer grants if students agree to defer.

Sloan just sent out a "Thank you for interviewing" email to those invited to interview, saying that all decisions will be released online on December 20th after 5 p.m. Seems like they might already completed all the interviews? Is there still anyone waiting to be interviewed?
