Congratulations!! BTW, How much tuition does that cover?

It is a GA with in-state tuition, partial tuition remittance and stipend which sum up to a 40% tuition waiver! Did you get the e-mail yet?

Thank you, KK! I just had my interview yesterday and it took more than an hour. I was impressed that the interviewer (one of the adcom member) actually read through all my application materials - he had both my resume and essay printouts with highlights lying on the table while interviewing me, he also had a 4-page detailed interview-quetion-memo, on which he wrote down quite some notes throughout the interview. I know that some other schools really just had blind interviews. In general I had an OK feeling, but because the interviewer is quite senior and very professional, it was difficult to tell the result now. One important information that could be reassuring to all R3 applicants is that the decision will come out ON or BEFORE the April 15th notification deadline! This information has been confirmed by my interviewer. Most likely 4-6 weeks after my interview. Of course, it could still take longer, latest until the April 15th, but it definitely gives me a better feeling than having to wait for another 2 months plus!

I got the email about admitted students weekend (ASW) on Feb 28/March 1. However, the deadline for a response for R1 is Feb 21. Anyone going to attend ASW? Anyone thinking of asking for a response extension until after ASW or just going to make the decision without it?
