Same here, sent it around the 20th. You 're probably right we probably gonna get the answer this week or the next one. Don't they take into account your transcipt and CV though?

I called them several times and one of the admissions officers made it very clear that the selection is only based on test score. I do not know whether that is completely true, but I can imagine that they check the test scores first and when two candidates have the same score, they start assessing other parameters of the application.

Oh I see. Thank for the info. There is no information on the website concerning the mean/median test scores of the admitted students, but I guess, given the size of the programm ( ~ 600 students) , that it must not be too ridiculous. Moreover if they have direct admission for 160+ scores at the GRE, it must correspond to the top 15/20% . What do you think?

I think the issue is that we are competing with all the others to get within the foreigners quota.. Given you are not Swiss?

On the other hand, the heavy quant program MiQ/F have relatively low average of 161 on the GRE.

I just got my acceptance for the Master in Accounting and Finance!! I requested it yesterday though since I have a deadline coming up.. Hope to see you all in Switzerland

They asked me for another copy of a document to be submitted by May 15th, everything else looking good otherwise.

Thank you!

Two main reasons.. Firstly, the approach is more appealing to me since I am more into consulting and M&A than financial markets. Secondly, I thought it would be more difficult to be accepted to Banking & Finance, and since you are only allowed to apply for one program I did not want to risk not getting a spot at all.

Fair enough. I guess both programs present similar opportunities and one should really choose the MBF if he/she is more quant / financial markets oriented :)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I would say that MAccFin is more sell-side/corp fin oriented while the MBF would be more tailored towards buy-side positions.

chribuz, gauting, did you have to send physical documents ? Apparently it was requried for previous cohorts but I didn't see any information about it this year ...

The application process is entirely online-based. Certified copies (or originals in particular cases) of school or university certificates must only be submitted after admission has been granted.

Taiwanese citizen. GMAT: 750, GPA 4.0/4.0. One internship in a consulting firm and currently working in a top European bank (less than one year). Various extracurricular activities in college and one year exchange in UK.
