I would imagine that it is preferred to interview as soon as possible so you may receive a decision sooner. However, since they are stating that initial invitations to interview may not go out until December 15, I think interviewing in January would be fine.

Quick question: Does Stern offer some leeway in terms of recommenders making late submission? One of my recommenders might not be able to finish his recommendation till tomorrow (the other one has already submitted his a week back).

Adcom said Dec 15 is just a final deadline for interviews, and that they will send out invites long before that.

According to the info session I went to, they commit to tell you something by the initial notification date. IE, if your file is complete by October 15th, they will tell you interview/waitlist/deny on or before December 15th. They will reach out to you for an interview at any point up to that date. According to this forum, they typically reach a decision 1-3 weeks after your interview.

Check the previous "calling all applicants" threads if you want to see what other people's timelines were like.

I did option B but wrote an essay - I felt that was the best medium that focused just on my story...hope tht don't hurt...

I wonder if the order in which you receive your password and username is indicative of the order that they review applications. I submitted on 10/10 and got my username and password on 10/15. Does that mean they will review my application before someone who receives their username and password today, for instance?

Do you know if Stern prioritizes nationals vs. internationals for interview??

Being from another continent, I'm concerned about timing -and flight ticket price- if notified on short notice
