I also first received an email saying that there was an update to my status. I wasn't sure whether Stern called accepted applicants, so my first thought was that I had been rejected/waitlisted. Fortunately, that was not the case. Two to three business days later, I received a call from a member of admissions. Hope this helps...

How does Stern communicate admissions decisions after interviews? Do you just get an email saying that there has been an update to your status, regardless of whether you are denied, WL, or accepted? Then you log in to see?
I received an email saying there was an update to my status, and saw that I was accepted on the status check website. A couple of days later, I noticed I had a missed call from the Stern admissions office on my work phone, but they did not leave any messages or call me afterwards, so I'm not sure what that was about. (I was freaking out on whether they were calling me saying that the admissions was a mistake because:
