Are any R2s still waiting, without having received any communication yet from Stern? I see R3s are already getting invites ...

I am still waiting. Why don't they simply tell us if they have rejected the application instead of playing this wait game.

I don't know ... I am kind of feeling "no" more and more as the days roll by. Trying to stay positive but it's getting harder ...

Hey there!

I am a round 3 applicant. For Essay 2 - I submitted pdf version of some slides in the application itself. I dont have anything to send to the school separately. Do I need to be anxious?

Also, I got a mail from adcom to submit my official GMAT report a week ago..have done the needful through GMAC immediately and report was sent a day after...but appstat is showing it to be still pending..Should I contact adcom?

I would be glad if I could get any heads up on the 2 questions.

OK, so the same thing happened to me with my GMAT score report. Here's what I did:

- Score report showed missing on my App status so I re-ordered from GMAC immediately the same day. GMAC confirmed it was received. Nothing happened on my app status page.

- So of course, I got a little panicky and emailed Adcom. They said it could take up to 2-3 weeks to process and show up on my App status page.

- After 3 weeks it still wasn't showing up so I emailed Adcom again. They confirmed they had received it, and my status was updated immediately to complete.

The point is ... They didn't seem to be annoyed by me asking/following up so I think it's a good idea to check in and let them know you've sent it. Also, try not to worry if it doesn't show up on there right away as received - I think it just takes some time to process.

I hope this helps you!

Thanks mate.

I've already contacted them once, immediately after GMAC confirmed me the delivery. The response was same as you stated. I guess I should wait for another week or so to follow up on that issue.
Thanks again!

I'm in the same boat. Haven't heard anything from my R2 application. I retook my GMAT about a month later, so my application may have been pushed back a bit, but it doesn't seem encouraging that R3 people are already getting interviews :(

Hi Jortim4,

Yep -- R2 though. Got my email about 10 days ago. I wrote them a letter, and got an extra rec sent in, but I'm not sure whether or not it's a good idea to actually go to campus. Since I already interviewed, (and I'm in California), I don't really know what else I'd get out of the trip other than just showing my interest.

Has any of the admitted students inquired about scholarships? I got significant money from another top 15 school and am trying to figure out how to approach admissions about possibly matching it. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi Jortim4,
I think you did the right thing sending your letter and addl rec in. I would suggest to visit campus as well again if you can, but since you live in CA it might be much harder for you. For example, I visited a Women in business conference last week and a member of admissions was there - so I could speak a little with the admissions. So generally I think it is a good idea to get yourself to campus again to show the interest and to possibly get a chance to introduce yourself and speak with the admissions again. But if you cannot do that, then I guess you just have to wait. Re-evaluate your application and figure out what could go wrong and try to fix it if you can and then send an update that you fixed it so that they can consider that when looking at your application again. I think re-evaluating your application and trying to fix the weak links is the best thing you can do at this point. Hope this helps. I'm hoping this strategy will help me as well.
