I am Consortium also, and beginning to wonder the same thing

I am also still waiting, interviewed on December 10 (but I am a Consortium applicant so perhaps the notification process will be different) I am Consortium also, and beginning to wonder the same thing I actually called the Admissions Office yesterday to see what's up, and they assured me that Consortium decisions will be coming "soon"...which doesn't really say anything but it does seem to indicate that we all may be grouped together. At least we know that they haven't forgotten about us!

Wow, I guess I spoke too soon. Just got the email this evening - admitted! Interviewed - 12/16 Admitted - 1/22 (minus the 2 wk hiatus for the holidays/storm, about 3.5 weeks) Good luck everyone!

Thanks for the detail, I submitted 10pm on 11/15 so I am hoping for some good news soon! It seems like there have been a lot of wait-list decisions from the Adcom. Let's hope they are not full!!

Is it fair to say that perhaps the decisions are coming out a bit late? I applied in Round 2 and was thinking it was to late to get an interview considering the decisions for R2 come out mid February. However in looking through some of the more recent posts, I am seeing individuals who are just now finding out if they were admitted or not who applied in R1, that's about a month after the decision deadline date.... Keeping my finger's crossed that their is just a delay and there is still a chance to at least get an interview invitation.

Hi Pyar, i'm waitlisted too. Just do what they suggested- get addl rec letters- i heard that recs from alumnies or your volunteering organizations go the long way. Also write a letter of commitment explaining that u are still very interested and would attend if admitted. I also heard that u can try to visit campus again-for ex . u can try to combine yr visit to admission office with attending an event/conference. Finally keep them posted on any updates- even if the updates are pretty small- i.e. new project involvement or increase of ur responsibilities or new community project or promotion if possible. Also send the periodic notes every 3 weeks or so notifying that u are still very interested. This all should help- just make sure u dont overdo it. Posted from my mobile device
