one last question - were you guys using the 'Inmail' feature of LinkedIn to reach out to the Alumni?
I don't remember using "in-mail." For a couple of them, I had so many common links, the messages were open--or maybe their settings were open? Not sure how LinkedIn works, but all I had to do was send a message. For a couple others, I had to go through the contact who knew them already and ask them to put me in touch. For the one that works at my job, even though she's pretty senior, I figured I had nothing to lose so I just walked into her office and introduced myself. I take the open-door thing pretty literally!

My coworker's interview is next week. According to my other coworker, who went to NYU and was in student government, Stern was trying to interview more candidates than they had historically.

He has a GPA below 3.0, GMAT 700, and about 8 years work experience in engineering - Recently became a supervisor like me...He also submitted regular essays for each of the questions.

Not a fact, they have released on Tuesdays and Thursdays also I believe. But others have said they release in bulk on Wednesdays.

In the last Fall matriculation, if I'm not mistaken, the first notifications mentioned on this site were posted on a Tuesday, June 11th. The next day that folks reported notifications was on a Thursday, June 13th. Since the day of each date changes from year-to-year, who really knows if there is any hard and fast rule. Hopefully they'll start sending out notifications en masse any day now so at least some of us hear something. Maybe their process is slower given a larger pool of applicants to review each year? Who really knows for sure...

"Thank you for applying to the NYU Stern Langone MBA for Working Professionals. We have received your application. It is currently being processed and presented to the Admissions Committee for review. Should the Committee require additional information, you will be notified via email and this website.

If your application was complete by the May 15 deadline, you will receive your notification no later than August 1. If you submitted a complete application on or before the final submission date, you will receive notification in enough time to complete the enrollment process if you are admitted. Please note that if your application is incomplete at the time of submission, your notification will be delayed."

Does anyone else see that? or it only me?

Yup, I get the exact same message every time I log in to the application check website, ever since I received the e-mail link on 5/16.

Congrats, rontej! Looks like this group is doing really well! I'm still waiting and it is killing me! I wish I at least had a vacation to go on to help take my mind off of it :)
