This is a very broad question, please let me know if you are looking for some specific help here.
Still if you are starting from the stracth below are some steps which you can take.
1. Take the first Moc test from GMAT prep - this will help to understand where you stand.
2. Research on the course material which you want to follow
3. Order OG Guides for the respective year
4. Finalize the course which you would like to follow
5. Start preparing for Quant and Verbal
6. Maintain an error log
7. Appear for mocs
