Hi Paul,
Thank you so much for taking the time to help us GMATClub members! I'm currently preparing for the GMAT and would like an idea of what target score would make me competitive for a Top 20 program. My field is Marketing, so Northwestern and the Ivy Leagues are my main goals, possibly with UCLA and Texas in the mix as well.
Here is the rest of my profile:
-White Male
-3.51 GPA from University of Miami
-Will be applying with 1 year advertising agency experience and 1.5 years experience in-house marketing (neither well-known companies)
-Active in alumni clubs/volunteer organizations
-Will be able to secure quality recommendations
-Small business part owner and considering making an LLC for my freelance writing activities
-Writing skills and standardized testing skills are two of my strongest assets
I'm currently early in the GMAT prep process and scoring around 680. Is there a target score that can make me competitive at these schools?
Thank you again for your help!
Mark
