I received my interviewer's contact information but I haven't heard back from her since I emailed her on Monday. I don't know if I should send her a reminder (I don't want to be to insisting) or if I should email the admissions manager for the region I live in.

I would recommend you to contact Admissions Committie

I actually sent an email to both my interviewer and the adcom. My interviewer replied almost right away apologizing for the delay. So everything is good in the 'hood ;)

I had my interview yesterday - it didn't go very well at all. Totally messed up the presentation bit, lost my train of thought in the middle of one the points I was making. So not expecting an admit from there. I also think as I have received an admit from another school the day before my interview, I relaxed too much and didn't really prepare properly or focus on it. Other than that the interviewer just went through my current job, asked about some leadership experiences, international background, why did i get into the industry I'm in now, what am i hoping to take away with from an MBA that will significantly help me in my career, and why LBS (and not the other schools I've applied to). I'm now officially done with interviews etc. Thank God - am a bit burned out by this whole process, I'm going on holiday next week to re-load batteries and relax in the sun. Good luck to everyone else on your interviews!!

Congrats on your INSEAD admit! At least you got into a really good school. Is LBS your top choice?

Cille,

Thanks for the useful LBS interview summary, don't worry too much. Maybe you still wowed the interviewer with your mind and charm. Good on you with the Insead admit, good position to be in with an admission in your pocket and the shadow of doubt gone. One would prefer this scenario over going into an make or break interview situation without any admits.

Had my interview today, the guy was totally chilled, the questions were basic, nothing too complicated. It was great and the presentation was also fine. , so now the countdown begins.... all the best guys.

My understanding is that your odds are decreased in R3 compared to R1 or R2. There just aren't as many spots available compared to the number of applicants. But your chances are far from hopeless, as they still admit many students in R3. If you're this far along, I see little reason not to go for it.

Anyone has any idea, as to what % of the slots are still available in r3? I am thru with writing the full app, but people have been cautioning me against r3?

Any existing students, professionals anyone spoken to Adcom?

Thanks

Madzy,
I have read somewhere that London Business School is one of the few schools where applying in any round has equal competition and so the same chances. However, adcom or present students may give a better advice on this.

Thanks Punzo.
I have heard extremely divergent views on this. Can someone help.

Hi madzy,

we're in the same boat, I'm also applying for r3.

I have good contacts to students at LBS, they told me that last year's r3 was as competitive as last year's r2. They had almost the same # of applications. On the other hand, I spoke personally to David Simpson from admissions when I met him at an MBA event. He told me that all rounds are equally competitive (which I am not sure about, but let's rely on what he says, somehow corresponds to what my student contacts said).

Hope that helps?

Cheers for now,

PGS17

Thanks PGS17.
One of my contacts was saying that only approx. 10% of the seats are open for admission in R3. That was very shocking! put me in complete reconsideration mode.

I read in a student blog that 1/3 of the spots available are allocated for R1, 1/3 for R2 and the remaining shared between R3 and R4. However, if I remember correctly, LBS receives the highest number of application for R2, then R3, R1 and R4. I posted the links in a previous post on this thread if you’re interested.

Yes you do. There are few softwares that will combine multiple pdf files, or you can stick all the individuals files (prefer jpg) in word
