The main export from Zambia is natural resources. Bauxite and silver are the two main exports, and zinc and tin are insignificant. Outside of this group, the only important item is ivory (largely illegal), though the exports of grain and meat are by no means negligible.

Given the above information which of the following statements is correct?

A) Ivory, though not as important an export as natural resources, is an important component of the export trade.

B) Ivory is nearly as important an export as silver.

C) Zinc is a valuable Zambian export.

D) Food exports are a bigger industry than bauxite in Zambia.

E) Meat exports are critical to the Zambian economy.

Pick by POE

A) Ivory, though not as important an export as natural resources, is an important component of the export trade.
Correct as the only left one

B) Ivory is nearly as important an export as silver.
Ivory cant be as important an export as silver, because the main export from Zambia is natural resources and silver is one of them. Eliminated

C) Zinc is a valuable Zambian export.
"zinc and tin are insignificant", so this choice could be eliminated

D) Food exports are a bigger industry than bauxite in Zambia.
There is no information about comparing the size of industry in Zambia. Eliminated

E) Meat exports are critical to the Zambian economy.
The passage just indicates that meat exports are not negligible, but this does not necessarily mean meat exports are critial to Zambian. Eliminated
