Can recommendations be submitted to schools (fulltime MBA) prior to an application being submitted?
I'm taking the GMAT at the end of October, and won't have a final list of schools to which I'm applying until I see my score. I figure that it will take me until the end of November to complete my applications. That leaves just a month, December -- a busy month at that (in retail, where I work), for my recommeder(s) to submit their forms. Can I ask them to submit their recommendation forms to schools before I complete my application? Is there a mechanism in the application process for this to be done?
Thanks.
Hi
TheDeliLama,
Most MBA programs allow you to submit letters of recommendation (LORs) in advance. This can be beneficial if you anticipate delays in completing your application or if your recommenders have busy schedules.
Remember, your letters of recommendation are an independent aspect in your application process. You can ensure a smooth application process by planning ahead and communicating effectively with your recommenders.
