TOEFL vs IELTS?

Question

Hi,
I am applying for a Masters of Science In Finance program for Fall, 2019 batch to various US Universities.

I want to know which one should I give, IELTS or TOEFL?

I will be applying from India.

Many US schools require TOEFL. Check the web-sites of the universities you've chosen to find out their requirements.

I would suggest go with TOEFL. It's relatively easy. I don't know how true is it, but I have heard many people scoring bad on IELTS but they scored in the range of 110-120 in TOEFL.

I would advise taking the TOEFL, it seems to be the more widely known and accepted test.

Mostly US colleges or Universities prefer TOEFL for apply any course.

It depends on where you are going to study. I did TOEFL to apply for a British university, but they prefer IELTS instead. They converted my TOEFL scores, and it seemed that I have the lowest IELTS score. After that, I was assigned to a group of students who needs to improve their English.
