Does anyone know at what time do the invations to interview start going out?

According to the R1 posts, seems to be in the afternoon EST. In four to five hours, I think. Online application status will change first before the email gets to you.

I have no idea. Don't focus on that. Just remind yourself that 40% will be invited and convince yourself that you are one of them.

Do invites go out randomly or only at certain times? I see that its the afternoon EST. Going forward, will emails be sent on certain days (ie Tuesday afternoons?) Edit: nevermind, saw the answer at the top of the page. Sorry!

Anybody knows whether dings will be sent before the 22nd of feb? Or is getting an email anytime between now and the 22nd a good news?

Days can be random. From the email sent by Adcom on Jan 4: "Also on February 22nd, the Committee will release all final admissions decisions to candidates that are not being invited for an interview and therefore no longer being considered for admission."
