I got an MBA.PM video interview email..I thought they stopped those this year. Not sure I'm going to do it.

No , they did not stop the video interviews this year , everyone who applied for PM got the invite and it says its optional ( should have a deadline as well).

Hey guys, How are the round 1 interviews, round 2 applications and the all around waiting games coming along?? For all those who have already submitted their applications, please keep us posted on your admissions progress. Quick write ups summarizing your interview experiences (interview format, questions asked, general mood, etc), application updates (interview invites, final decisions, scholarship offers, etc) and any other news or helpful info uncovered from speaking with the admissions department or students is all extremely valuable insight. This info is beneficial not only for current applicants but also for applicants in future rounds as well as future admission seasons. Completed my interview last week. The interview was conducted over SKYPE by a member of the admissions team. The questions were pretty similar to the ones posted by others in this thread. Walk me through your resume. Why did you decide to pursue an MBA? What are your short term goals and long term goals? Why Marshall? What is your leadership style? Any questions for me? The interview lasted just over half an hour. At the end he asked me to check on Feb 1 for the results and wished me luck.

Does anyone know if MBA.PM will be calling admits this week for those that applied in November?

When I talked with an admissions officer after I got waitlisted, I got the impression January would be a little later because of the holidays. I'm thinking next week at the earliest. Just what I gathered.

Kyle--for us waitlisters--when you called did you ask how they will notify waitlisters? Meaning, do you think they will notify every month at the same time as when they release new decisions? Good luck btw, let's hope we get some movement.

I know we are reconsidered during every round, and if we are accepted or declined we will receive notification. Unfortunately when I had her on the line, I forgot to ask if our waitlist status would be updated monthly. (ie, whether we receive the same waitlist update at the beginning of every month, if we aren't accepted or declined.) Since we are sort of evaluated "fresh" every round, I'm thinking that we will be notified whether accepted, further purgatory, or dinged. Good luck to you, too!
