probably dingville for me too.

.
When the process is all over it will be interesting to see what stats the top programs stressed this year. It seems like they are stressing high GPA over high GMAT, and quality/type of work experience does not seem that important (just need the threshold # of years). Total guess.
I wouldn't go so far as to make those conclusions. These forums tend to over-think the admissions process, but it's fairly simple: your profile to top schools has to be great overall with no weaknesses in any one category. Just because some people with amazing GMAT scores and quality work experience got dinged doesn't mean top programs aren't looking for those. We don't have enough info on these peoples' full profiles to make any educated guess on how adcom thinks.
For example, I have a below-average GPA but I majored in one of the hardest engineering majors, took all honors and accelerated courses, and I scored well on the GMAT on my first try. My application has been received well so far. Does that mean top programs are stressing GMAT over GPA? No way. It shows they looked at all factors describing intellectual vitality without stressing the importance of any one particular factor. If MBA programs had hard GPA cut-offs at 3.5, I would be very much "screwed".
