MIT mentioned HK and Shanghai in my invite.
HK is 85% full whereas Shanghai slots are 50% full.

I guess they started out sending the invites for internationals?
I knew it was a very hard target to aim, but seems like I may get a ding...
God dinged earlier from Wharton, and now speculating a ding from Sloan... not a good day

Where did you hear this? From razordude's post, it looks like there are still a few invites left.
I think the rest of the invites might me sent out on Monday.

I think the remaining 8-9 slots belonged to those who were just not fast enough to book them by today morning.Doesn't make much sense in holding just a few invites till monday.

Guys, I would try to stay positive during this process. Sloan is notorious for sending out invites at random times - I had to wait seven weeks to get my invite last year and by then there was only one slot left.

Sloan themselves said they will send invites through the end of November so there is still time. It isn't over yet!

And I'm still waiting in Europe so it better not be over!! :)

probably dingville for me too. :-).

When the process is all over it will be interesting to see what stats the top programs stressed this year. It seems like they are stressing high GPA over high GMAT, and quality/type of work experience does not seem that important (just need the threshold # of years). Total guess.

It looks like they've sent out invites to Indian applicants such that all interviews can be finished when the admissions team visits Mumbai.

I hate to say this, but it looks like the end of the road for R1 Indian applicants without an invite :(
