in short, i would say that I was looking for to what extent that "counterbalance" (as mentioned in your above post) can work. ofcourse, all those who have received interviews.. would be having atleast serviceable nature of execution for sure. by getting to know as much stats as possible, i was trying to determine the level of competition which exists.

Well, I think that taking into account only the GMAT we have a very decent profile to get at least an interview. And I hope that we are a representative sample of the pool of latin american applicants, and that there are at least some invites still out there. Even if it's not, that is what I want to believe till mid-November jeje
