I saw that some of you who had your interviews 3 weeks ago still haven't heard back. If rejected, does the school just wait until they get a better sense of enrollment from admitted students? I'm right at 3 weeks now and haven't heard anything. I'm guessing I didn't get in but would like to know instead of continuing to wait.

Seems like a few of us waiting. It's been about 2 weeks for me

When should I expect to hear back for the R3 (Jan 15th) round? I see some people hearing back and I'm worried that something happened with my application. Could it be worth calling the admissions office?
Did you receive an email from them with details on how you can login on the Application Status Check Website? If you did, I'm guessing your application is complete and you don't have to worry about anything being lost. If you didn't, it would be a good idea to just call or email them.

I applied 01/15 and heard back with those Status Check login details on 01/30. If I remember correctly, a few others here also heard back on that same day. (I haven't heard anything since, though. :? )

I did receive the automated message that you're referring to. Just getting nervous that so many people have heard back and I haven't yet! only 2 weeks til April 1st!

Has anyone heard back after the London interview? The wait, the anticipation, the fear is killing me.

Was the London interview conducted by adcom? I'm a Londoner but decided to fly to New York for mine (combination of impatience and general obsession with NYC)

Indeed, it was. I liked the adcom member who interviewed me. Very friendly and easy going interview.

Hi all,

International applicant. I interviewed on 5th Mar in India and thought the interview went well. Would be 2 weeks tomorrow, but no response yet. I would be really anxious if I get no response by the end of this week

Hey there, did they tell you that you'd hear back "within two weeks"?
If I'm not mistaken, most sources state around three weeks, whereas I was told that it'd be "three to four weeks".

What's up with your name, by the way? Did you pick it in foresight or has it become a bad omen? ;-)

No, the Adcom member mentioned 2 to 3 weeks. But, just that once the 2 week time ends and the delay gets longer, chances of negative results start rising :P

I had 3/3 WL in R1, hence the name 8-)

Are you wondering what the hot MBA jobs of the future will be? Take a look at these six up-and-coming jobs that US News & World Report highlights as well-suited for business school graduates. Not surprising, they all command solid salaries, and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts hiring growth in these industries.
Here are US News’s top picks:
Operations research analyst: Higher-level operations research analysts usually have an MBA with a specialization in production and operations management. Consider top schools, such as University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and the Michigan Ross School of Business.

IT Manager: These professionals supervise employees, communicate with internal executives and outside vendors as well as plan various tech upgrades for their employer. Check out the excellent program for information systems at MIT Sloan School of Management.

Management Analyst: These professionals provide feedback on improving an organization’s efficiency and profitability. Competitive candidates have a few years of experience in operations, and have earned an MBA with a focus on management. Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School have top programs.?

Financial analyst: These professionals help companies determine when to buy and sell investments.  The Chicago Booth School of Business and the NYU Stern School of Business offer top finance programs.

HR specialist: These professionals work with a company’s employees, by doing anything from recruiting them to training them to explaining their benefits. HR specialists don’t need an MBA, but the degree will help them stand out from the competition.

Information security analyst: These analysts monitor and protect an organization’s computer network and systems. Companies prefer to hire those with an MBA. The UT McCombs School of Business and Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business are top-notch programs for studying information systems.

As you can see, employers are looking for skilled managers to lead the way in today’s global economy. Business and management degrees can be a powerful driver of confidence and opportunity to achieve those ambitious goals.

Thank you! I'm located in California. They definitely kept me in suspense! I received an email about my status update. Had to check my status and then click another link to my decision letter. Those couple of clicks were so tormenting!

i know the feeling - almost makes you want to call them and say "did you lose my application?"

You got the email with your "check your status" information at least right? nothing is missing and all?

Luckily (or sadly) you're not alone.... I can't help to think we are either waitlisted or just waiting for 1st of April to be rejected. :(
