I got it too. I'm sure it's a glitch, and that they intended this to be an acceptance email to the full-time program. :P

I'll probably hold off on the call/email because I'm sure they are going to receive hundreds or thousands of calls and emails in the next few hours if they sent this to everyone.

lol... i was sooo confused. glad i'm not alone - i went to a PT class once...and i was wondering if i somehow applied by accident. then i thought, maybe they don't want me and are telling me to apply to that instead....thanks GMAT club...can always count on you guys to calm me down.

I just got it as well and called the number on the email which was actually for the PT admissions office to inquire. They confirmed it was a glitch and was accidentally sent to applicants across all Kellogg programs. Nothing to worry about.

Oh man, super disappointed that everyone got this mail. With no interview in the horizon, I thought this was an actual invite, albeit one for the PT MBA program by accident. I was hoping to see a whoops, we meant the FT MBA but you're still invited. Doesn't seem to be the case though...

"Earlier today you received an email inviting you to schedule an interview with the Kellogg Part-Time MBA program. You received this email in error and should disregard the contents of the email.

We deeply apologize for any confusion this may have caused. There has been no update to your status at this time. Please contact the Admissions office if you have any questions at..."

This was their response when I emailed back to query about the invitation email. Full-time MBA applicant here.

Just to end the conversation about the error email. A friend of mine that is currently studying at Kellogg said that even current students received it by mistake. I.e., as the follow up email stated, just disregard its contents.
