i dont see any further calls going to indians, since it is already 11:30pm here. so this is my second ding in as many years. yale som was my top choice, and after being dinged after interview last year, i really thought i had a chance if i try another time. i left a convert to goizueta last year to give yale another try. had my phone in front of me since the last 6 hours. but this is really sad.

I wonder how many calls they have left go go out. It can't take that long to call 500 or so acceptees if you have a decent number of callers. If each call is roughly 5 minutes long, then 1 adcom can make 12 calls in an hour. If they have 10 adcoms calling (but this is the number that I really don't know), then we're at a roughly 4-hour-long window. If they take a lunch break, then perhaps they will finish around 2-3. There are a lot of assumptions in here, though.

I'm based in Chicago. I missed a call from the admissions officer around 9 AM CST, so I think that's a good sign. She left a voicemail and said she'd try back later then send an email.

I missed a call about half an hour ago. The admin asked me to call back and did not mention reaching out again... I called, but no one responded. Is this a pre-admit call? What if I don't hear back from them. Been super nervous all morning...
