Hi everybody,
I've been fortunate to receive admits to various programs and want to know your opinions on which one should I choose. I am 36 years old, married and have a 6 month old daughter. I have 9 years work experience in an accounting firm here in Puerto Rico. I also have passed all three levels of the CFA program and want to enter the asset management industry. I'm also willing to consider corporate finance roles should the asset management route not pan out due to my age. The programs I've been admitted to are:
1. Washington Univ. (Olin) - 110k tuition, no scholarship
2. Rochester (Simon) - 92k tuition, 60% scholarship (approx. 55k)
3. York (Schulich) - CAD 74k tuition (domestic fees since wife is Canadian citizen), no scholarship declared as of now
4. Pittsburgh (Katz) - 58k tuition, 28k scholarship
5. SMU (Cox) - 92k tuition, 40k scholarship
6. TCU (Neeley) - 98k tuition, full scholarship
Due to age and family situation, finances are definitely important to me. The less debt I have to incur, the better. Don't care about weather and not looking for a specific location post-MBA. My main concern is putting myself in the best position to fulfill my career aspirations. Which school do you think best accomplishes this? I appreciate any comments or suggestions you might have.

Simon is a finance paradise, esp if you are hardcore CFA Level 3 - I think professors will appreciate it and give you credit with a potential for a fellowship that pays 3-10K/year. That may make it an equivalent choice with Neeley. However, if there is nothing Simon can offer, and if $37K is a significant amount for you, I would vote for Neeley.
In terms of asset management - that's a competitive field that will likely have quite a bit of competition and Simon's or Olin's rank won't be good enough to offset competition vs. higher ranked schools.

Thank you bb for your response. I already sent the decline letter to Tulane. They gave me only 20% scholarship so there was no way I chose them over Neeley. I received an email from The Consortium telling me that Simon sent them a school referred application for me to fill out. Having access to that network is appealing to me and maybe enough for me to bypass the full ride at TCU.
When you refer to potential fellowship that pays 3-10k per year, what exactly are you talking about? Is it like a GA?
