I got accepted. They emailed me today with the letter.

"Dear NovDjokovic:
It is my pleasure to formally offer you admission to the MIT System Design & Management (SDM) program commencing August 21, 2017. Congratulations on your achievement! Successful completion of the SDM program will lead to a Master of Science degree in engineering and management jointly awarded by MIT's School of Engineering and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Any news?

I guess they are behind schedule. The site says that results were to be out by February 24. I wonder if there is anyone out there that has been dinged already? We have people that were likely waitlisted (the explicit status was not disclosed) and people invited to interview and accepted or invited to interview without a response/clear status (after 3 days acceptance status was disclosed to others).

Can the accepted people submit their profile? Thanks!

It may be easy to say that after I got the offer, but try to chill out. It's not under your control. The AdCom told me that they got a record numbers of applicants this year and they are delayed.

Trying to help you, as requested, here is my profile:
- Engineer, 10+ years of experience in R&D and project management of Electronics for home appliances and telecom.
- Leading global development teams.
- MS in Engineering (France), MBA (Brazil).
- GMAT 760 (Q50, V42).
- Got the interview invite on Feb/16, was interviewed on Feb/20, got the offer on Mar/03.

Did anyone receive any info from Adcom regarding "put on hold applicantions". There were too many applications in Round 1 and Adcom was behind schedule.
I am not sure if that means some applications which are yet to be considered moved to round 2.

Any info, please post.

Here is my profile:

- Engineer, 3 years of experience in R&D (EE/Sensors/Computational analysis) in San Francisco. Recently started being a technical lead
- Essay objective: Combine engineering and business and transition into technical product/engineering management
- BS in EE (grad with Honors) from Caltech
- GRE: 165Q, 161V, 5.0W
- Got the interview invite in Feb, got the offer on Mar 3rd.
- Currently deciding between SDM and LGO, and leaning towards LGO at this moment. SDM seems like average WE is like 8 years, so I'm thinking that it's better for established senior engineers as opposed to young guy trying to get into management.
- Actually applied last year and was rejected w/o interview. However the adcom sent me a very nice letter saying that they saw potential and encouraged me to apply again next year.

Best luck to rest. Whether SDM or LGO, I'll be at MIT and would love to meet you all!

Any of you got any acceptance/rejection/wait-listed email today? I had my interview on Feb 28 and still haven't heard back. Was told during the interview that after the adcom meeting on March 1st, notifications would be sent out on Friday, March 2nd. I spoke to the financial coordinator on Monday and she told me there was another adcom meeting that day and they would send notifications later that day or the next morning. Still no email though. Anyone else who hasn't heard back as yet? Please mention your interview date as well. Thanks.
