There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Creating a place for Haas EWMBA applicants to hang out and network with other applicants. We can use this platform to know each-other, build network, exchange ideas/information, discuss application strategies, share interview /school visit experiences, and boost one-another's morale to face the tough admission process.
Archived 'Calling All Berkeley Haas Applicants' Topic
Hi there,
You've reached an old 'Calling All Berkeley Haas Applicants' discussion which is now
outdated and has been archived. No more replies are possible here.
I don't think we'll here back until April 5th (if we got in) or April 6th (if we were waitlisted or denied).
Does waitlisting happen before or after interview.
You get waitlisted after the interview. If you were interviewed, you find out if you were accepted on April 5th (you'll receive a phone call). If you don't receive a call on April 5th, you'll find out by email if you were waitlisted or denied on the next day (April 6th). I know it's nerve-racking, but keep yourself busy, meditate, and above all be confident and D-day will soon be here. Best of luck to all!
I suspect any time between March 7th and sometime in May, though most should receive an interview invite by the end of April. If you're commuting from outside of the Bay Area or if you applied for one of the two weekend cohorts (Axe or Oski), you'll likely receive an interview invite for Haas Interview Day, which is held on a Saturday and allows those lucky individuals who were selected for an interview to take a tour of the school, have lunch with students, attend a class, and interview with an adcom.

RE R4 -I totally agree with LACA it existed last year, so I don't think it is out of the ordinary. (And to think last year they accepted over the 250 students that is typically their max)
RE R3 interviews - If my R1 interview is any indication, you can find out up to two weeks before decision date. So keep the hope alive.
Also to all R2 folks, only a week and two days left!
As it gets closer to R2 decisions, I was wondering if anyone who recently got accepted would be willing to talk over PM about what they think was the reason they got in + small profile evaluation.
I understand none of us work for adcom (to our knowledge!) but I want to see where I may or may not stand, while also passing the squirm inducing time before final decisions.
