Hi,
For the question on the application about LBS Alumni/Students "If you know any London Business School Alumni or Students, please give their names, graduating class and tell us how you know them."
I have a recent (pretty serious) ex did his MBA from LBS we aren't on talking terms but I did learn a lot about the LBS experience from him and the impact it had on him, I am unsure on if I should include him and if so, how to put it in.
Any suggestions would be great!

If you are not currently on speaking terms with this guy, would you really feel secure about marking him down? Keep in mind, in no way is it a dealbreaker if you don't have anything for that question. For me, I would rather leave it blank than involve any of my ex boyfriends. Might feel good to check the box at the moment but if we are not in close communication, I might worry about what they would say, anything upset in that relationship, just more stress than it is worth to be honest.
If you learned a lot about LBS from him, leverage that in the optional essay by describing how you could and will contribute to the class.
You can demonstrate all you learned there and also what unique contributions you could offer.
My 2 cents.
