The correct response is (E) because each item listed follows the same grammatical
pattern of using plural nouns.
Response (A) is incorrect because the grammatical structures of all three items in the list (size,
needs, and what) are different.
Response (B) is incorrect because the grammatical structures of all three items in the list
(requirements, needs, and how you will) are different.
Response (C) is incorrect because the grammatical structures of all three items in the list (size,
needs, and tracking) are different.
Response (D) is incorrect because the grammatical structures of all three items in the list (size,
needs, and the trends) are different.

(E) is correct because each item listed follows the same grammatical pattern of using plural nouns.
But in choice D size is used which is singuler noun thats why choice D is wrong.

I chose option e over option d because option d has " the trends in sales and other there should be articles before 'technical support needs' too.

I’m sure you know why A, B, C are wrong.

Why D is wrong because of parallelism.

If you break the sentence you would have

…the size of your customer base,
…the technical support needs
… the THE trends in sales

Notice the 2nd “the” in the last item in the list

Option E omits “the” so you never have the case of “the the”. Hence E is correct
