I will be having 13 years of experience by this July , working in IT - as a SAP Senior Consultant , I was planning to apply to one year IIM courses, but IIM B mentions that EPGP accepts candidates with preferably less than 12 years experience , is 12 years a hard cut off ?

Here's my observation- 1. As you see I've shared the current batch profile in the 1st post. We have students with 15 years of work experience, so I don't see that as a problem. Also: https://www.iimb.ac.in/programmes/execu ... ch-profile Max age of the participants is 41 years.
2. However in the webinar (Check the snapshot) they mentioned that the program caters best to candidates with 5-12 years of work experience. For people more than 12 year of work experience they have another executive program.

I encourage you to drop an email (or call) and clarify with the admission team, they repeatedly mentioned that they'll provide any sort of assistance- so do reach out. At the end it all boils down to why MBA and why now? If you can convince them nothing can stop you.
1. Since the deadline is 29th August'19, does the admission committee start evaluating the applications after deadlines or in between? (i.e. does it make a difference if I submit my app on either one of the dates - 15th July or 15th August?)
2. Do the two referees receive the recommendation queries after submission of the application?
3. How much time do the referees have to prepare and submit the recommendation?
4. What should be uploaded against the option for 'GMAT Scoresheet'? Is it the official score report by Pearson?
5. By when should one send the GMAT scores via Pearson to the school?
Hi! Please find the answers to your queries: 1) No significant advantage in submitting the application before due date. No decidions are made till all applications are evaluated 2) The referees receive it as soon as you key in their email ID in the application form. You do not need to submit the application for them to start the process. 3) Depends on you. You can do it today on your online application and they will get an email immediately or within a day 4) You can upload the score sheet you receive from the center or on your email 5) Send it as soon as possible (preferable 10-15 days before the deadline). Sometimes there are delays from Pearson.

Log into the application form and check all the necessary conditions to be met. Usually the word limit is high and most recommenders do not reach or overshoot it.

Hi, Can anyone tell me whether there is any word limit for a letter of recommendation that needs to be sent through an online link by the recommender?
12 years is not a hard cut off but IIM B prefers applicants with less than 12 yrs of experience. However, with a strong application and absolute clarity in your thoughts/vision you can definitely get in. I would urge you to apply and focus on strengthening your application.
PM me for further queries. Regards, Tridisha

Hi, thank you for creating this forum. I have following questions:
1) Is there a difference in applying to Round 1 vs Round 2? If so, what's different? Does the probability of application acceptance decrease as seats get filled during round 1? 2) Can I fill the application without GMAT scores before August 29 for Round 1, and send the scores later?
Please find the answers here: 1) There is no difference between both rounds and equal number of seats are filled in the two rounds. However, many applicants take GMAT later in the year (procrastination ) and this MAY increase the number of applicants in R2. There aren't any data points to prove this, but if you think logically, this seems probable. 2) You cannot submit your application without GMAT score.
