Heartiest congratulations to those who received the interview invite; for those who didn't, Hakuna Matata 'the best is yet to come'. Tridisha1 ma'am could you kindly elaborate on the Written Ability Test (WAT), how to prepare with some prompt examples based on your experience. Thank you. Also, thank you very much for your post on SOP - appended it to the first post!

Here is my take on the WAT: WAT or Written Ability test is a 30-45 minute writing assignment that is scheduled before the interviews starts. Applicants are asked their opinion or thoughts on a certain topic. Through this test, the admissions committee is evaluating if candidates can form their own opinions and thoughts on a topic and whether they can effectively communicate the same through the written medium. Applicants should think before they start putting pen to paper. Follow a structure and write clear, concise statements. Focus on grammar and spellings (difficult since we hardly write on paper nowadays) and ensure that you get your thoughts across to the admissions committee. PM for further questions. Regards, Tridisha
