Nobody has started a thread on this and previous years started 2 months before September, in July. I figured I'd take it upon myself. Is anyone else having difficulty submitting application that have included Darden and Stern? It doesn't allow me to send app saying that I need to respond to 2 different questions for Stern and Darden, but I've check Darden and Stern 10 times and I've filled out everything that's needed. I think the best way to think about it is, CGSM can decide whether you're eligible to be a Consortium Member (ie, do you fit the mission) but the school ultimately decides whether they give you the fellowship. Hence the 'draft' in March. Does that make sense?

Okay.... So let's say you're 1,3,5 accept you. Does 1 have the opportunity to give you it first then 3 then 5? What's the lowest school you've heard someone ranking receive the fellowship?

Thats exactly correct. I've spoken to CGSM students at every school I applied to and the vast majority had that school #1. They mentioned some students they knew going to #2 ranked schools. Heard of one person at their #3. That said, you could certainly get into your #2 and that school give you other funding outside of the fellowship too...

The whole process is quite odd. I have one friend who is at their #6 and still got the fellowship. I have heard you can leverage your fellowship from your #1 if you decide to attend your #2 or #3 to get money. I know a few people who have done that, it just won't be called the Consortium fellowship. It's all confusing really.
