Hi leb25 and kalynguyen,

May I suggest a combined WA group, since most of us will be swapping campuses at some point anyway?

Posted from my mobile device

Yes, let's have one master group too.

Anyone applying in R2, are you guys done with your video interviews? Also, since 20th May is the deadline, are we supposed to finish the video interview by then or can I submit my essays by 20th and do the video interviews sometime in the next 2 days?

P.S. Is there an updated thread for the questions asked in the video interviews?

Hey ronak1003 I already applied, was supposed to take the video interview yesterday but I'm sick so I will delay it a few days.
For R2 you must submit your application latest on the 20th. You can do the video interviews up to the 22nd (remember, both on French time).
Your recommenders should send the letters as well the latest on the 22nd.

There are multiple threads with lots of questions in the forum, in the practice tests I found only new ones, so maybe they are changing them, will post a list after I'm done with it.

Regards,
Pablo

Hey pabpinor,

Wow thank you for that quick revert. Sorry to hear that you're sick and hope you recover soon. All the best with the interview and application. If I finish mine before you do, I'll share the questions asked.

Cheers,
Ronak

Hi Ronak,

I'm due to submit R2 today hopefully. Then i'll do the Video Interviews on Thursday or Friday. The most exhaustive list i found on the subject is compiled by MBAPrepCoach:

https://mbaessaycoaching.com/b/insead-v ... ions--tips

There is as well a post on gmatclub specific to this subject.

Good Luck

Hi,

Has anyone submitted the R2 application without a GMAT score? I know we have the option of taking the Online GMAT, but I need a lot of real-estate to solve the Quant questions, because I rely a lot on putting in values and backsolving!

I just finished my application and was wondering how many people are submitting it without the score.

I’m submitting without a score. I’m due to retake the GMAT on June 1st when the centres re-opens.

But do you plan to take the GMAT soon?

I had not taken the TOEFL or the GMAT when I submitted it but I noted that I was taking them the following week.
I'm not confident that I will get the best out of the online version, but I believe it is better than without it (despite I consider my profile quite strong and fit).

If you had taken the GMAT previously, INSEAD requires that you share all the previous scores with them, just fyi.
Even if it is a low result I believe it is better to show it ahead than have them figuring about it later...

Pablo might be right actually. I was still debating what to do myself. But in any case i don’t think it’s a big issue since it has not been officially clarified by INSEAD.
The important thing is that you don’t look like you are trying to hide anything.

I might end up following Pablo’s advice and put my old score with a mention in the optional essay that i will be retaking the GMAT.

I believe it will be harder for you without a GMAT, as an Indian who will have to compete with others with GMAT scores of +730 who took the scores before despite a good GPA and background won't be easy to compare.

What INSEAD said in the admissions webinars was that if someone really could not take the GMAT before they wold evaluate and maybe ask to take the GMAT later, or request additional materials for compensating the lack of balance of the GMAT.

Let's see what they say in a month from now.

Regards,
Pablo
