I do agree on the GMAT bit and I am studying for it.
What I get out of this is at least an entry at my application. I have a good hold on my GRE for now and I am planning to take it in June or the GMAT.
Well if you already have the GRE then is less to worry.
If you want to take the GMAT for R2 think that it will take 8 working days (so over a week) from the date you take it to get your results, and INSEAD needs to decide latest on June 15th for the interviews, so would be better to give them as much room as possible to review your application and make a decision.

Though what you mentioned here will be preferred by INSEAD, but as per my understanding, while exchanging some emails with INSEAD, that they will start sending Interview Calls without GMAT (obviously if they like your profile).
However, GMAT score needs to be submitted before the final decision.
