Rotman Application Deadline R2

Question

Hi all,

On the Rotman website, the last date of application for R2 is mentioned as 13th Jan, but everywhere else on the web, it is mentioned as 7th Jan. Have they revised the deadline? If not, why is there this difference?

All you need to follow is their official website. If Rotman's official sources claim 13th Jan as the R2 deadline the other information sources must be outdated or wrong.

Can R1 applicants shine some light on what kind of questions were there in the KIRA interview?

From my experience with Schulich, the interview questions and the practice questions were widely different!

I had a query regarding the kira interview... Do v have to set up a date for the interview or does the interview start immediately once v register for it??
If v do have to set up a date how quickly can v get one??
Itll be really helpful if anyone can clear this

You have the option of practice and then whenever you are ready, you can start the video interviews. Do it in a neutral environment with professional attire.

Urgent! Does Rotman's deadline include the video essay component? If yes, how much time does it typically take to receive the KIRA portal link for the video essays?

Yes everything should be submitted by the deadline. You should get the video interview link within a few hours of submission if not instantly.

I had reached out to the admission committee for the exact same question about 2 days ago. Here is the response from them -

"Once you receive the link to the video essay, you will have 7 days to complete it. Your application will still be considered as part of round 2 as long as you have submitted all other supplemental items by the deadline."

So it looks like you can complete the video essay after the deadline too, as long as all other aspects of the application have been fully completed.

so by 11th we have to submit everything and later we will get the link to complete video essays ? Or we should obtain the invitation to video essay prior to the deadline.

From my understanding, you just need to submit everything by the 11th deadline. It's okay even if the video links comes after it. (this is how I understood the adcom reply)

You need to submit your application by 11th. For the video essay, you will receive a separate email and the deadline for it will be one week from the day you receive the email.
