Hi everyone.
I retook my GMAT online last week.
Today I got an email telling me that my recent scores were lower than or equal to the original.
However when I go online to check my scores, it's been updated to a score 30 point higher than the first one and with all of my info for the latest test.
I don't know which information to trust and I'm waiting on an official response from GMAT.
I noticed it's happened to some other testers. Which information do you think is the right one?
Hi
sampaioraso,
You definitely aren't the only person for whom this has happened. Judging from the weird double-emails / blank emails that GMAC sent out yesterday, the recently announced 5-hour long mba.com website "maintenance" scheduled for tomorrow, and direct testimonials from test takers like you, whose GMAT Online physical whiteboard retake scores increased on their mba.com accounts despite their having received the "
Notice about your GMAT Online Exam Score From Your Retest" email, there have been some serious glitches lately with GMAC's automated score delivery and email systems.
I don't see any reason not to conclude that the updated 30-point higher score posted on your mba.com account is indeed the correct score, and that the "your scores have been retained" email was sent to you yesterday by accident.
In other words: GMAC messed up, not you--you can trust that your new, higher score is indeed valid.arora1: Did your "disappearing score" update to a higher score as well?
